John Glanville is a drummer from Calgary, Alberta. He uses his skills as a musical communicator to help inspire and unify the musicians around him. He has performed with musicians and ensembles such as Pat Belliveau, Shane Statz, Johnny Summers, and the Prime Time Big Band. He has performed at the Ironwood, the Jack Singer Concert Hall, and the JazzYYC International Jazz Festival. John is also an active educator in Calgary. He will be graduating in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Music degree from Ambrose University, where he studies under Tyler Hornby. John has also attended the Ambrose Drum Camp, hosted by legendary drum set educator John Riley.

I have been engaging with music ever since I can remember. I grew up with it, and I am continuing to learn how to share the joy of music with the world, whether it be through performance, teaching, or otherwise.
